It should be no surprise to you reading that I love film. I love everything about it. Yes I event love how prohibitively overpriced it can be sometimes, because damn if you don’t cherish it just that little bit more knowing that you blew a whole pay check on some sort of experimental art project.

Cinestill films have always had my curiosity and I will admit I never took the leap and shot a roll until reading about their recent release: Redrum. Aptly named because of its red/orange hues this red scale film has been an absolute joy to experiment with. I’m a big fan of in camera effects, so shooting on a film that has such a striking red grade is unique, and I have saved rolls for the three projects I am about to share with you.
